The Ministry of Public Health of the Republic of Cuba states that the U.S. based non-governmental organization USA/Cuba InfoMed.

InfoMed has supported this ministry in several ways, particularly by bringing to Cuban hospitals and clinics approximately 800 computer systems donated by individuals and organizations in the United States.

Knowing that it is the intention of U.S.A./Cuba InfoMed to continue this valuable support for which we are very appreciative, we encourage individuals and organizations of good will in the U.S. and elsewhere to consider U.S.A./Cuba InfoMed as a valid and reliable organization through which to channel support for public health efforts in Cuba, and to express friendship and solidarity with the Cuban People.
